Paola Carrara
An expert in auditing and accounting organisation, she has extensive experience in the field of industrial groups and service companies, and also in the financial sector with reference to major national and international banking groups listed on the stock exchange, where she has also managed the accounting and evaluation aspects related to extraordinary operations. She is also a Member of Auditing Boards and Supervisory Bodies pursuant to Leg. Decree no. 231/2001.
She is Manager of the Internal Audit Department in listed companies.
She was senior manager in leading auditing firms where she gained extensive experience, including international experience, in the field of assurance services.
For more than 15 years, she has been collaborating as an expert with the Economics Department of the University of Bergamo in the “General and Applied Accounting” course.
She participates as a speaker and lecturer in various seminars and training courses organised by professional associations on themes such as corporate auditing of accounts and budgets, the main IAS/IFRS international accounting standards, and the main OIC national accounting standards.
